It's the "reel" deal
Having read some of the negative reviews, I have come to one inescapable conclusion.
Some people should not be trusted with a pair of shoelaces.
This is not a perfect product, and I knocked off a star for that reason. But some of the negative reviews make me fear for the future of humanity.
From the negative reviews:
1) "It took me hours to assemble" - Really? Mine had eight screws and nuts in the handle, which was the only assembly. What did you spend the first hour of assembly on - trying to figure out which end of the box tape to peel back?
2) "All the screws fell out" - Sigh. The machine has two bolts (pre-assembled) that hold the rear wheels on. It has four screws (pre-assembled) for the cutter-bar adjustment. And it has eight screws and nuts for the handle assembly that you installed. Let me guess which screws fell out. These machines come with aviation-style NyLoc nuts, which may make the screw feel as if it's been tightened when you still have a ways to go. If your handle is still loose and floppy at the joints, or if you can still turn the screw easily when you take the wrench off the nut, you haven't tightened the nuts down.
3) "I'm seven feet tall, and can bench press my wife's car, but I can't push this thing" - A clue. You're holding the wrong end. Instead of holding the wheel end and shoving the handle across the ground, try turning it around - it'll work better. And lay off the steroids.
